Technical notes about Vijé, Langhe Bianco DOC

CharacterTasting notes

This wine is characterized by a precise set of aromas: gooseberry, acacia and apricot. But it is above all a floral wine, with recognition of lily of the valley, lemon flowers, narcissus, gardenia, acacia flowers and lavender. Exotic hints, with notes of yellow peach, mango, pineapple and citrus peels to close. On the palate it is warm, round, fresher than savory, but harmonious and very soft. The finish is persistent, with fruity flavors of apricot and tropical fruits.

Wine & FoodPairing

This wine should be served at room temperature. It goes well with first courses with meat sauces, mushroom dishes, medium-aged cheeses and second courses based on poultry, rabbit and game.

The Langhe Bianco wine is made with blended, well selected vines. Our Langhe Bianco Vijé is a white DOC wine, produced in Canale, with grapes all from our own vineyards.

Vijé is a wine of impressive structure, that ages for up to two years. Serve it at a low temperature. You can drink it as an aperitif, but is at its best if paired with starters, first courses and fish-based dishes.

It is an elegant white wine with incredible freshness. The vines, are located in one of the vocated areas of the region. For this reason they are able to give this white a great drinkability and unique typicality of its kind.

A wine produced limiting interventions in the vineyard as well as in the cellar to a minimum, and following a holistic vision of wine.
